Wild-esse is a site through which I wish to discuss humanity's tenuous relationship with the wild, the hyper-intellectualism and the commercialization of that wilderness that have caused a rift between understanding nature on a primal level and understanding its importance through data information.  I am interested in understanding the potential for sacredness, originally found in nature, in the now abstract realms of commercialism and money. How can we rebuild our connection to nature while also accepting natural progressions into the more abstract avenues of technology?  I am a person with a labyrinth of questions and curiosities running through my head.  I like to follow those curiosities and I like to share them and engage with others in fruitful, sometimes painful, always interesting and insightful - debates. 

 

I find interesting content and share it with site visitors and then we - together - enrich our minds through discussions/debates/challenges/inspiration.  What is Nature?  What is our responsibility to Nature considering our unique skills and the challenges those skills can pose for us in a world of combatting individualities?  We will read things, watch things, ask questions, set challenges for ourselves and for our friends.  We will learn and re-learn things as we gain insight and leverage against our old views and with the benefit of invested time into strengthening our minds.  We will lift each other up and proceed together into a better version of ourselves.
